A Dance-Tastic Celebration: Keep Fit Association’s Laban Dance Fitness in Clay Cross

On 1 March 2025, the East Midlands Keep Fit Association hosted an energetic Come Dancing: Laban Dance Fitness 50+ session at Clay Cross Social Centre. Led by the talented Debbie Risorto, the event welcomed older adults for a fantastic afternoon of fitness, fun, and social connection.

A Day of Dance and Community

The session ran from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, offering participants a chance to engage in accessible and uplifting Laban Dance Fitness. Whether seated or standing, dancers enjoyed rhythmic movement sequences designed to support healthy ageing while celebrating the joy of dance.

Following the class, attendees stayed on for refreshments, a raffle, and a friendly chat, fostering a warm and welcoming space for connection. The extra 30-minute social time allowed participants to relax and share their experiences, making the event even more special.
