Ann Burley and Sheila Byran, exceptional choreographers from the South East, used excerpts from “Carman” to depict a story of mythology. The dancers portrayed the myth of Pandora, illustrating how curiosity releases the evils of trauma, sadness, greed, turmoil, and darkness into the world. However, hope remained in the box, offering calm, courage, tranquillity, and a desire for good. This shining beacon of hope turned darkness into light, creating a powerful and moving performance that captivated the audience.
