On 2nd March 2025, the Buckinghamshire Keep Fit Association (Bucks KFA) hosted a spectacular Day of Dance as part of the National Let’s Dance celebrations at Wendover Memorial Hall. The event welcomed participants of all ages—including children over 10 years old—and featured a diverse lineup of dance styles. More than just a celebration of movement, the occasion also served as a successful fundraiser in support of dementia charities.
A Day Filled with Dance and Joy
Attendees had the opportunity to explore a variety of dance styles, led by experienced KFA Dance Teachers and other Dance practitioners. The programme provided both fun and fitness, keeping participants engaged throughout the morning with posture session, Salsa, Scottish Dancing, tap dancing and a final keep Fit Laban Dance session.
The floor remained packed for every session, and participants enthusiastically joined in the dance workshops. Refreshments and a raffle added to the lively atmosphere, making the day enjoyable for all.
Dancing for a Cause
The event was organized in support of dementia charities, allowing attendees to contribute to a meaningful cause while engaging in dance and the Bucks KFA community successfully raised a significant amount for local dementia organizations.
