Local class members in the Fylde sell books for Parkinson’s UK
Last year a lady in one of my classes brought along a bag of reading books she had finished with asking could she lay them out to pass on to others.
There were so many I asked if we could ask for donations for them to give to our KFA Parkinson’s charity. She happily agreed and I carried them from class to class collecting more along the way as others contributed their used books also.
Little did I know how this would escalate !
Everyone was more that happy to give for such a good cause. My dancers as well as my keep fitters kept them coming in week after week.
Contributions have reached £200 which is wonderful.
Sadly due to the current situation this has come to a standstill but I hope to continue with this worthwhile cause soon.
