Inspired by an emotive performance of Les Miserables, Georgina Moore used the music “Bring Him Home” sung by Alfie Boe for her latest choreography. This piece was first performed at the Keep Fit National Festival and later reprised in Alfie’s birthplace of Fleetwood at the Keep Fit Association’s annual general meeting.
Georgina’s choreography aimed to represent the dancers as mothers and partners waiting for their loved ones to return from fighting in a war, a subject that remains sadly relevant today. The performance, combined with the poignant song, transported everyone who saw it into the deep emotions experienced by these families. It was a powerful and moving tribute that resonated with the audience.
