Let’s Dance in the North West: A Joyful Afternoon for a Great Cause

On Sunday, 2 March 2025, Keep Fit teacher Susan Traynor hosted a fantastic Let’s Dance event in the North West, bringing together her Keep Fit Laban group, friends, and neighbours for an afternoon of lively movement, music, and fun.

A Celebration of Dance and Community

For two hours, participants embraced a wide range of dance styles, including:

– Ballroom

– Latin

– Charleston

– Calypso

– Barn dance to get everyone moving

– Laban Lyrical Dance, adding a creative and expressive element

The atmosphere was full of energy and laughter, with attendees enjoying each step, rhythm, and movement. The variety of dance styles ensured that everyone, regardless of experience, could participate and feel the joy of dancing.

Dancing for a Cause

Beyond the excitement of dance, the event had a deeper purpose—it was held in aid of a charity supporting multiple sclerosis. Participants came together not only to celebrate movement but to contribute to an important cause, making the day even more meaningful.

A Memorable and Uplifting Event

Susan’s dedication to Keep Fit Laban Dance shone throughout the event, creating a welcoming and inclusive space. Attendees left feeling inspired, energized, and connected, proving once again that dance is a powerful force for bringing people together.
