Let’s Dance Together: A Joyful Morning in Cogenhoe

On 19 February 2025, the East Midlands Keep Fit Association (KFA) hosted a wonderful Let’s Dance Together session at Cogenhoe Village Hall, Northampton. Led by KFA teacher Kathie Lynch, the event welcomed both regular members and new visitors to enjoy a fun-filled dance experience.

A Morning of Dance and Connection

The session brought together eighteen regular KFA members, along with four visitors, all eager to learn a lively dance routine set to *All That Jazz*. The atmosphere was energetic and inviting, as participants embraced the joy of movement through dynamic choreography.

Following the dance session, attendees enjoyed light refreshments and a chance to chat, discussing the physical and mental benefits that dancing brings. Conversations highlighted how dance fosters well-being, fitness, and social connection, reinforcing its importance for both body and mind.

A Lasting Impact

The feedback from the event was overwhelmingly positive, with attendees expressing their enthusiasm for the experience. Impressively, three of the four visitors decided to enroll in Kathie’s regular classes, noting that they wished they had discovered them sooner.

Celebrating the Success of Let’s Dance

Kathie’s Let’s Dance Together session proved to be a resounding success, welcoming new faces into the Keep Fit community and encouraging more people to embrace the benefits of dance.
