Mid West held a Summer Mini Festival on Saturday 16 June 2018. The afternoon commenced with an open class followed by class demonstrations showing a variety of keep fit including apparatus.
A cheque for £645.00 was raised within the branch and presented to Rebecca Swithenbank the fundraiser for Candlelighters Children’s Cancer Charity. Each year 150 children are diagnosed with cancer in Yorkshire. Rebecca gave a presentation on the work and research they carry out.
The afternoon finished with refreshments of cream tea and strawberries followed by the raffle with very generous prizes.
It was a great event and everyone commented on how they had enjoyed the afternoon.
