Yorkshire member Jean Roebuck awarded National Volunteer of the Year 2024 – Member Category.
Jean has been keeping fit since 1963, has performed in many Keep Fit displays and performed in the Yorkshire Team fifteen times at the Royal Albert Hall. It was amazing to see Jean at this year’s Annual General Meeting and a delight to see her receive the member Volunteer of the Year award. Jean celebrated her 100th birthday this year and is still attending a Spanish Class, a Drama Club and a Keep Fit Class weekly.
Jean has attended most National AGM’s, that is over 60 glorious days joining together with Keep Fit friends from all over the country to enjoy our days of Keep Fit. Jean’s zest for life is truly inspiring! Not only does she keep herself busy with her various classes, she also brings a spark of joy to those around her.
