Well done, Elaine! One of our wonderful Keep Fit teachers in the West Midlands. We are proud to announce the amazing news that Elaine and her group the Wheely Different Dance Company has been awarded The King’s Award for Voluntary Service (KAVS) for their outstanding work in the community. The King’s Award aims to recognize exceptional work by local volunteer groups to benefit their communities. It was created in 2002 to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s golden jubilee, and following his accession, His Majesty the King emphasized his desire to continue the Award.
Elaine through Keep Fit Sit & Stay Fit training specialises in exercise for disabled adults and was honoured last year to receive the KFA’s own Volunteer of the Year award.
Elaine oversees the group Wheely Different Dance Company with her daughter, Eleanor Mouzer.
